Outreach at Covenant

Here are some of the Ministries/ Organizations Covenant works alongside:

1. Interfaith Assistance Ministry:

August Needs:

Pantry Food Focus:

Chili with meat, canned pasta, powdered milk, paper grocery bags.

Clothing Closet:

jeans, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, children's and men's shoes, new undies, new socks.

2. Hendersonville Christian School:

~ Golf Tournament Fundraiser Opportunity: Cummings Cove Golf and Country Club on Friday, October 8th. It costs $125 per person ($70 tax deductible; includes range balls, cart, beverages, lunch and dessert).  Sign-in is between 10-11am. Lunch will be served at 11am and tee off will begin at noon. Dessert and awards will be given out afterwards. If you are interested in receiving more information or signing up please contact either Pastor Chip or Karen Kuyendall at 692-0556.

4. Open Arms Pregnancy Center:

On Saturday, October 2nd, Open Arms is sponsoring a walk in the Blue Ridge Mal from 10am-noon. They need walkers and those willing to sponsor walkers. If you are interested or want more information talk to Cindi Faga, Dean Parker, or Pastor Taws.

5. Hendersonville Rescue Mission:

the mission is looking for volunteers for the front desk for Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings. The shifts run from 9am -12 and 12-4pm. You would be responsible for answering the phone and greeting people as they enter. If you're interested in this opportunity please contact Tami Wilson, the volunteer coordinator, at 697-1354.
