"Leading Our Households in Spiritual Growth"

Goals and Objectives

I.    Leading by Worshipping
a.    Personal Worship – leading our households by being regularly engaged in personal devotionals (i.e., daily Bible reading & prayer).

b.    Family Worship – leading our households by being regularly engaged in family devotionals (i.e., regular discussion of spiritual topics).

c.    Corporate Worship – leading our households by being regularly engaged in corporate worship.

II.    Leading by Developing
a.    Personal Development – leading our households by learning through the reading of Christian literature.

b.    Family Development – leading our households by learning within a ministry of the church (i.e., small group, Sunday School, Bible study, etc.).

c.    Corporate Development – leading our households by learning to be humble in allowing others to pray for us (i.e., prayer partner or accountability partner).

III.    Leading by Serving
a.    Personal Service – leading our households by serving self (i.e., living a healthy lifestyle – proper diet, exercise, moral choices, etc. – taking care of self).

b.    Family Service – leading our households by serving in our household (i.e., serving our family members; meeting physical and relational needs).

c.    Corporate Service – leading our households by serving in the community/world (e.g., volunteering throughout the year at church, community organizations, mission trips, etc.) so that Christ might meet the needs of others through us.
